Weights: Where do I start

Hello! I have a question about lifting weights. I have never been fit and have never really exercised. I started in April with Zumba and now I do different kinds of cardio, 5 days a week. Mostly videos. I keep reading that I need to do strength training but I don't know where to start. I'm not sure what size weights I should start with etc. I have 40 pounds left to lose! I'd appreciate any advice!

Check the link below. Note the lifting routine listed there that says something like good to do on calorie deficit. Read it all though.
