Unsure how to begin EM2WL

I may just begin to EM2WL. I already have my calories at 1700 range but according to the calculators I need to be higher than that.
I am bouncing between the same 10 pounds and I need something to get me out of this rut, and I don't really think eating less is going to get it done for me at this point.
Plus I want to lift more to tighten and tone now that my weight loss has reached it's stabilization point.
Anyone else chosing the eat more to weigh less option?
What are your experiences?
Any women lifting and seeing results? What are you doing?
