Is there something special or a reward you give yourself for every pound you loose. I was thinking of saving ten dollars for every pound and buying new clothes.

I like that idea but I'm horrible at saving money! I'm setting goal rewards for 20, 30 etc....0

Not for every pound, no, but for every 10 pounds, yes. My goal was to weigh 279lbs on my birthday (which was June 15).. if I meet the goal, I told myself, I'll reward myself with the tattoo I've wanted since the day my niece was born in 2005. Well, I didn't meet the goal (I weighed in at 280.5), but I went ahead and got the tat anyway. It was my birthday present to myself. Imagine my surprise 4 days later when I weighed in at 277.5! I met it a little late, that's all, and surpassed it..
Think big. Go big. Rewarding yourself for every little pound will become frustrating, especially when you hit a plateau.0
