Commercials that make you hit mute or change the channel

My wife has the ability to tune out commercials, but I unfortunately can't seem to avoid hearing them.

I know we have MFP members from all over the world, but I'm in the USA so these pertain to my location.

I hate the Kit Kat commercial with the sounds of everyone snapping apart their stupid little Kit Kats.

I hate the whole genre of commercials designed to help lazy people collect more government money. "Get everything that you deserve, we'll file the paperwork so you don't have to"

Anything with closeups of feet. I don't want to see your nasty feet on my big screen tv. Put some shoes on for chrissakes or at least have the decency to wear some socks.

Any reality show tv commercial were the 'stars' stand with arms crossed like they are a bunch of bad-*kitten*.

That dadblasted Sarah McLaughlin animal shelter commercial. >.<
If I don't turn it immediately I'll want to boohoo and try and rescue all the animals, everywhere. urgh.

there is one , that repeats the same line over and over at least 20x i think they say their webisite over and over , so horrible i fumble for the remote to change it as fast as i can, i am sure if its aired by you , someone will know

The feta cheese commercial with yaya (old lady, grandma figure).

"This looks like one of those pornographies" in reference to a few people in swimwear

"You marry computer" in reference to a couple skyping

I mute it because for some reason these feta cheese commercials have the volume that the yaya grandma might need. It blares loudly out of the computer speakers and makes me scared and bothers my poor little ears.

ASPCA commercials too....they are so sad. I am feeding the feral cats where I work already, so when I see these commercials it makes me start thinking about ALL the homeless, helpless animals and I feel sad because I can't help them.

Kit Kat is another good one....snap sna snap snapppppppppp...............ugh

But the #1 hated commercial of all time to me are those gross azz TERMINIX commercials with the nasty looking termites and other bugs. I'll be sitting there enjoying my dinner while watching HDTV, Food Network, etc and out of nowhere one of those gross bugs splashes across the screen and I can do nothing but look down. For this reason I will never use Terminix everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

i dont know. i dont watch alot of tv and what i do watch i record so i can skip through the commercials!!! ALTHOUGH while at the gym the other day i happened to catch a greek yogurt commercial with john stamos that made me literaly :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

The commercial for that medication "Lovaza."

His blood work comes back, surprise! It's bad! So what does he do? He goes on Lovaza! And what happens? His blood work comes back better than before!

Awesome! That's exactly what you're supposed to do when your blood work comes back less-than-good. Become dependent on a medication and continue down your unhealthy path of self destruction. Bravo!

The animal abuse commercial, I love animals and it literally makes me tear up when I see that! I think I care more about them than most humans lol!

I don't watch TV. It is WAY TOO MUCH sensory overload for me. I just do Netflix on laptop or iPad.
I get to avoid commercials, but never know what new movies or local news is hot.

shoe dazzle commercials... omg those shoes r sooooo ugly and cheap-looking. It's bad enough that the shoes are terrible, but do they have to use children in sweat shops to make their horrid, knock-off azz shoes? the kardashians are evil, evil, greedy people. I'd rather wear cardboard tissue boxes on my feet... hell thats what their shoes look like anyway.

I cringe at the blackpeoplemeet commercial also. they keep repeating "this is how black people meet" like 30 times and lying about how great their website is. Ewww! I will NEVER go on that creepy azz site. If thats how black people meet, i dont wanna be black anymore loljk. I really do not like that commercial though.
