So, I'm back. A few years ago I lost over 20 pounds using this website and thought I had a control on things. I kept the weight off for over a year. Unfortunately, I got a job with high stress levels and lots of traveling resulting in eating whatever is fast and easy. I now find myself needing to take control of my life once again. I left my stressful job and am working with a coach to help keep my goals for both nutrition and exercise. I started a new profile here so that I can start with a clean slate.
My goal - become healthy again by the time I leave for a Australian vacation my husband and I have been saving two years for. I want to feel comfortable in my body when I put on my swimsuit. I want to be able to be able to go on hikes without getting tired after a few miles. I want to be able to keep up with my husband, which will be difficult since he is a ultra-marathoner, but I am determined to make it happen.
I'm not going to let a job or excuses get in the way of my health again.
I'm looking forward to getting involved in the community here again and meeting new people. I hope to provide support to those who need it so please add me if you are looking for someone who can see the positive in every situation, will tell you to never give up despite being discouraged or disappointed, and wants to help push you to reach any goal you've set for yourself.
I'm glad I'm back
