These inbred hicks were out of their league when it came to trying to match wits with a bunch of nerds.

Most of the Patriot Riders are former Marines, including a couple of military war dogs who ride in sidecars with their handlers. They do a silent Flag escort for the family. I hope they'll be able to show up in force tomorrow in Columbia.

While it's true that WBC desires the publicity and is only about 50 people, most members of the Phelps family, the human walls serve the direct purpose of preventing them access to the family. I don't care about the publicity so much as I care about their pain.

    Dont be such haters folks..

I dont buy into anything they say but, these people are americans too, they have a constitutional right to their ideals, beliefs and the constitutional right to speak it. And the soldiers that died, gave their lives so they can maintain that right ironic as it is. And if you dont like it, take a month long vacation to Saudia Arabia, or Kuwait, try afganistan if you like. Let me know then how much you hate free speech...

And yes, I am a Patriot Guard Rider... retired military.

I can not stand the way that horrible hate group uses the word "baptist" in their name. I am a baptist.. they are crazy, terrible, hurtful cult that I wouldn't mind never hearing about again!

    They make me so angry!

Yes, Im not advocating revoking freedom of speech... I just wish that these nasties didnt have an avenue to vocalize their stupidity!
You cannot legitimately support a principle only when it is convenient.

There is nothing remotely religious and/or Christian about the Westboro Baptist Church.

    Agreed!

If more ppl stood up against the WBC and made human walls to all the ridiculous protests they have then maybe they will stop. I feel like they do it for attention and if the attention is shifted from them to the ones who are stopping them ( creating a protest against them) then maybe they will stop...... Not sure if it would happen like that but i think its worth a try.

    Howdy folks,

I wanted to offer a brief explanation for the locking of this thread.

The forum guidelines include this item:
    15. Divisive Topics Are Better Suited For Groups, Not the Main Forums

Divisive topics, particularly those that seek input from or are relevant only to a select group of users, are better placed within an appropriate Group rather than the Main Forums. For example, topics relevant to only one religion should not be placed on the main forums but rather within a group related to that religion. We reserve the right to move any topic to a relevant public Group which interested members may join if they wish to continue to participate.

    16. No Political Topics in the Main Forums

Political content is not allowed on the Main Forums. This includes images. Please form or join a Group if you would like to engage in political debate on MyFitnessPal.
