The Triumphant Return of the 40's + a small NSV :)

I don't often think to post on the forums, so i'm probably missing out on a lot of support, but I just had to share a recent success story.
I've been struggling with my weight my whole life, and about 6 years ago lost 35-40lbs and managed to keep most of it off for a few years. Then it slowly crept back on. Two summers ago I managed to get down to 151lbs, which was about 10lbs away from the "skinniest" i'd ever been...... and then I bought a pair of Gap straight leg jeans in size 8, which were too tight, but i was hoping to get into them comfortably by continuing to lose weight. This never happened, and by last summer i had hit a high of 175lbs which was pretty close to the fattest I'd ever been (though when you are relatively physically active and have some muscle, your body looks much different than 175lbs of pure, white, inactive fat, lol) - anyway. That was a low point and I knew i had a wedding coming up (my own, i mean) in Sept 2012, so about a year ago, I vowed to get my *kitten* in gear so i didn't feel like a whale on my special day and have the urge to burn all photographic evidence.
So yesterday, i tried those jeans on last night, and THEY FIT. They were tight, yes, a little too much thigh to jam in there, but THEY FIT. NSV!!
AND this morning, I weighed in at 149.8, which I realize is still pretty much 150, HOWEVER this is the first time I've seen the 40s since 2007 and so I shed a little tear of pure, unadulterated joy, and moved on with my day
I actually had set myself a private and "ridiculous" goal of getting back to the 40's before the wedding...... and I can't believe it's actually pretty much been achieved.
Thanks for letting me share this small victory! I am unfortunately unable to post a photo because they're blocked at work, but maybe later!
I'm open to having some new and supportive MFP friends so feel free to add me (with a reason, if you like
