I AM TRYING TO LOSE ABOUT 40 POUNDS BEFORE JANUARY 20..WOULD LIKE 60 BUT I DON'T WANT TO DIE EITHER..I AM FAT BUT I WALK 3 MILES A DAY AND DO 300 STOMACH CRUNCHES, PLUS DO LEG LIFTS AND BUTTERFLY FOR MY SHOULDERS...I AM JUST NOT ON THE RIGHT EATING PLAN TO LOSE WEIGHT, I GUESS..ONLY HAVE LOST 4 POUNDS SINCE I STARTED DOING ALL OF THIS ON AUGUST 10TH..I NOW WEIGH 241 AND HAVE GOT TO LOSE SOME WEIGHT..TIRED OF BEING OVERWEIGHT AND KNOW THAT I CAN LOOK ALOT BETTER THAN I DO NOW..FAMILY IS ALL OVERWEIGHT AND I WANT TO BE THE SMALLEST AND MOVE ON WITH MY LIFE..AWAY FROM HERE

First thing do not put such a huge goal on the line. Yes I want to lose 54 more pounds but next week I want to lose 1.5lbs. Make mini goals. If you want the weight to be lost and to stay off you must do it right and in a healthy manner. If you lose it too fast it will be very easy to put it right back on. Just watch what you eat and what you are doing for exercise. You can do it! It may take longer than you think but it is worth the weight. (Pun intended) lol.. sorry you can do it! Just give yourself some time and if you worry about it too much you will start to gain stress pounds. Just eat your calories (yes all of them) and burn around 300-500 calories a day. It is okay to eat the calories you burn off. Do not starve yourself or your body will go into starvation mode and will not lose weight. Good Luck and you have a good support team on MFP!0
