Climbing back on the wagon

I started here about ten months ago. I was doing great after a month and had lost 14 pounds. For no particular reason, I was not able to keep with it. I gave up totally and went back to my old ways.
The past nine months I have not checked a calorie or looked at a scale. Finally I think I have the motivation and support around me to try it agian and make it stick.
So I walked up to the scale at the med center at work yesterday and found that in the last nine months I have LOST 2 pounds. Wow, talk about a kick-start. It's great to not have to start by getting back to zero. I'm feeling a positivety this time around that I just didn't have last time. Also I have researched a lot of healthy foods and recipes since I found it harder last time because I really just didn't know what to eat.
If anyone is reading this who might have slipped and is looking for motivation, just think of this; I had a 9 MONTH slip and came out fine, climb back on the wagon and don't give it a second thought.

I read your post and think that it's totally awesome that you lost while not paying attention to what you was doing. I have a problem with yo~yo ing, I will come and log in for a few days, and then skip like a week or so.......I am having trouble finding that motavaion that will hold my attention for more that a few days. I am happy that you lost a total of 16, my goal is to lose 78.0

Great for you, I slip regularly and I am a great advocate for keeping coming back.
It helps to keep me focused, and even if I have to start again from scratch, I know that at least I'm doing something x0
