It's nice not worrying about calories for awhile. Just don't allow your self to "let go." I did, I felt miserable!

Whatever you need to do. Personally I've slacked the last 3 days and I'm back to being lazy. x.x Tomorrow I'm fixing that!

Listen to your body. I'm gonna slack off this weekend before starting P90X Monday. I may do a lil cardio 2moro but that's it!

For dinner tonight I had costco pizza (the big slice, 1/6 of the pizza) with everything on it, a portion of the chicken ceaser salad and coke to drink. It was really good. Sometime you just need "that" food. I went over my calories today by less than 200 and I'm ok with it cause it's been a month since I've had pizza. I think as long as you give yourself a couple of days with the knowledge that you will get back in the game you are going to be just fine.

Hah IsleEsme - I'm about to do the same. The take and bake pizza is waiting in the fridge courtesy of my boyfriend (he's such a stick he never thinks about what he eats). I'm only 100 calories over (thank goodness I worked out earlier today). I agree though a day here or there does not mean failure. If you were going over on calories every day of the week before, then staying under just one is progress. Slowly but surely - it just all depends on where you're at individually. I'm thinking of planning things out a bit better though so it doesn't become a habit. That way when I feel like cracking other days of the week, I have something to hold out for and keep me on track. Knowing I can eat it, but later seems to help me. When I was in great shape four years ago, I ate super healthy all week but Thursdays were my splurge day (my bff and I would cook a fantastic meal and drink wine and watch Grey's).

While i think taking a short break to rest and refocus is a good thing, don't completely lose track. Take a look at your ticker. You've come a long way.

Go for it! I'm doing the same thing this week. Enjoy! Next week it will be back to running and weight lifting.

I did, for 10 days too, ending yesterday. Still lost at the exact same pace :)

    Take it easy, literally :p

Do what you have to do, but make sure you return after your hiatus.

Good to hear that I'm not the only one that needs a break from tracking for a while =p I'm gonna keep tracking though and try to keep on track a little while longer =)

    Thanks! <3

I stopped logging on weekends, holidays, and vacation over a year ago, and periodically take breaks where I just eat like I feel like eating. As long as I keep up my activity, I'm golden.

When I finish P90X on August 5, I plan to take a week off of the hardcore training I've been doing. Nothing but walking and stretching that week. Then...INSANITY BEGINS AUGUST 13!! :)
