Other websites for calculating calories burned?

Wondering if anyone prefers another site for calculating calories burned? I have no smartphone, HRM, etc. and rely only on the activity done and time. I think that it might be more accurate if I could include intensity/effort which is not an option here.

For instance, today I played tennis. I would imagine there is a big difference between what I do (light/moderate effort coming of an injury) vs. someone that plays with vigorous effort intensely.

I just don't want to make the mistake of over or under estimating :ohwell:

I just put it in on here and it tells me that for 60 minutes (I probably played 90, but shaved some for down time) I burned 822 calories!! That just seems extremely high to me.

    I like this one : http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/cbc

I'm usually skeptical about some of the internet sites estimates about these things too. In one of my health and exercise classes in college I learned how to calculate how my body burns calories so it's relatively easy for me to spot when sites claim ridiculous burnage. A good rule of thumb is that burning 10 calories per minute is a pretty decent workout (for a healthy, able person). When you get up to 15 calories per minute, the site is probably over estimating it unless you're a professional athlete who can maintain extreme output for an extended period of time.

    Hope this helps! Good luck!
