Slim in 6

Just wondering if anyone has done this program and had success. It is made by the makers of Power90X.

    I did it for about a week but found it tedious and did not stick with it. Nonetheless, plenty of people do stick with it and get very good results.

  • There have been a lot of posts on here about slim in 6! I know that people who do stick with it are satisfied with the results!

    Good morning.

    I've done two rounds of Slim in 6, with great results both times. It's funny. I hated it the first time. The second time, I appreciated it much more. I'm a Beachbody coach, so I've tried a few of the programs, including Power 90, Yoga Booty Ballet, P90X and Turbo Jam.

    I haven't gotten jaw-dropping results like you see on the infomercials, but I haven't tried to either. I'm in this for the long haul. I'm a firm believer that your workouts are to improve your fitness and that your food is the key to weight loss. I structured my food with the goal of losing a pound a week, and I lost 6 pounds doing Slim in 6. And I felt fantastic by the end of the six weeks. (I'd taken several weeks off prior because of my dad's poor health. He passed away August 4, and I started Slim in 6 August 10.) SI6 has three phases, and the final one — Burn It Up! — is a pretty challenging cardio workout. At least it was for me. I am still doing the SI6 workouts now that my six weeks are up, and I've lost another 2 pounds.

    I have done Slim in 6. It does work. I do agree that it does get a little boring doing the same workout everyday. I have moved on to ChaLEAN Extreme and I really am actually enjoying my workouts now. I still do one day a week of the Slim in 6 Burn It Up and I like the workout better then when I was going it everyday. I am thinking of doing another round of Slim in 6 after I finish ChaLEAN Extreme.
