Hi, in a little over 3 weeks i have lost 7.5 pounds. Today my TOM showed up, 9 days early...is this normal for people going through nutrition and weight changes? I have always been on time, or at leaste a day late, never early. I am a little worried...Thanks

I've had changes to, but usually 2 to 3 weeks late. That's what i'm experiencing now, but with every other symptom of having my TOM such as cramping, exhaustion, severe bloating (more than usual), and definitely weight gain. I'd be curious to hear everyone else's input on this.

I have had changes too mine are actually regular now for the first time in my adult life.I wouldn't worry to much.My cycle this month was 3 days late and last month it was on time so it just depends.

Mine hasn't changed because of weight loss or weight gain- My cycle changes when I get hang out with other women or start at a new job that has alot of females because it sychranizes with them

Unless you get your fat percentage below 10% then I wouldn't blame weight loss on your period flucuating.
  • Mine has actually been late as well, 2 weeks late. I was going to post this question myself. Interested to hear what everyone else has to say.

Your body changes hormone balance every so often too. Your TOM will change over your lifetime. Your body could be going through a change and I don't think you should be too worried.
  • Last month I got my period 3 times in one month. I am on birth control, and take theh pill the same time everyday, and I did not miss any pills. I have been on the pill for 7 years.
I'm blaming it on the weight loss since my doctors have no other explanation.
    (No I am NOT pregnant)

I do know an increase in activity levels can effect it, but mostly I've heard of making it late. I wouldn't be too concerned about it though.
