    Hope you're feeling better, V.

I think all of us could eat more veggies. We do grilled veggies once a week. I wished I like a wider variety of veggies though. Our grilled veggies are always: asparagus, broccolini, zucchini, & carrots - little misto spray (think Pam, but you make your own) and some seasoning - usually with rice or couscous. I wouldn't mind having a big bowl of fruit for dinner either, but that one is hard to talk husband into.

I'm really bummed today - my final bike training is going to be rained out :frown: The rain is coming up now and it doesn't look like it will be dry again until Thursday. So far, next Saturday looks awesome though. Looks like it might be gym and yoga today, sigh.

    More veggies, boogaloo!

Feeling a bit better today (almost afraid to say it out loud).

I'm cleaning the house in ten minute spurts. My male cat, ever helpful, decided to remind me that it was time to clean by peeing on the sofa this morning (for no discernible reason, btw. . .) So, I've pulled off all the cushion covers and I'm in the process of washing them and cleaning the living room/dining room/my office area. I took some cold medicine that has me really nauseous, so I'm forcing myself to eat right now in the hope that will calm my tummy down a bit. If it's not one thing, it's another.

I'm seriously trying to figure out what working out four times a week would look like. I think I'm just more active lifestyle-wise than I give myself credit for. . .and would like to run an experiment with more rest to see if that equals sick less often. Hey, it couldn't hurt. I think it would be: one day each of: boxing/abs with my trainer, Bikram, circuit training w/ high intensity, and spin (with maybe yoga afterwards. . .my gym is doing a back to back thing now).

Sorry the biking's getting rained out, Mary. I also need to try to eat more veggies. I just drink them. Yesterday it was homemade tomato soup almost exclusively. (except for dinner, which was Thai food)

    Uh-oh. . .cold medicine induced chatty boogaloo.:flowerforyou:

    Hi Ladies.
Not much to report today. It's my cheat day so I am kind of enjoying that. I did notice that my jeans fit better this morning so I know lowering my carbs is making a difference. It had only been two days.
V, I hope you start feeling better soon, and that maybe you can find a balance so you won't get sick so much. I've been taking that Lamisil and my tummy stays upset a good bit of the time (keeps me up at night too). It's not unbearable but I don't like feeling gross all the time.
Mary, sorry you can't get many bike rides in. A few days ago the weekend forecast was sunshine and I was looking so forward to it. It was raining just a minute ago. :ohwell: And rain is in the forecast until Thursday I think. I really need some sun. I like the rain, but I need vitamin D!!!!
    Where's CP?
So my goals this week are to stay with low carbs, and higher protein. Get my push ups done 3x. And try to get some work outs in. At least 3x. Doesn't sound like much compared to you ladies, but I think that's all I can manage now.
Off to a friend's house. Having dessert!
