25 and too large

Hello, everyone!
I've just joined the sight. I'm 25 years old. I'm 5'7" and 185 lbs. My goal is lose 30 or so of those pounds through a combination of running, martial arts, parkour, and of course strength training. When I was 18-20 I was really into health and fitness. At that time I was 160 at 8% body fat. I felt good health wise and more than that I felt great about myself. Due to laziness, college, and too many video games I am now at my current state.

Looking forward to working with all of you towards our goals!

    Hi! I am also 25 and started at 184. I had gained about 30 pounds during the previous year and a half due to a breakup and college. I have been working out/ eating less for the past 7 weeks and am down to 170! I have been going to the gym a minimum of 4 days per week and doing 50 min of cardio each time. If I can do it, you definitely can, good luck!!

    I'm 25 as well.. 5'9'' and currently 189lbs. My long term goal is to lose about 50lbs. But my short term is to get into the 170's. The support on this site is just amazing and I'm finding it help me through my life style change! Feel free to add me. Good Luck :)
