I have a tough time balancing everything I eat. Sometimes I don't eat enough calories or I eat a little too much. Sometimes I eat the right amount of calories but too much protein or carbs, and so on and so on. Does this really matter? I just want to eat properly and get the right amount of everything I need, I'm really trying to lose weight!

  • I really believe if you cut back on what you eat and exercise, you'll have no problem. It's all about portions! And, don't forget, there are good carbs as well as bad carbs. I've cut out bread, potatos and pasta lately and it sure does help!

I don't balance and I have lost weight. As long as you are not too far below on protein or to high on carbs you should be fine.

Minimum protein you should have divide you weight by 2.2 then multiply by 0.8. This is the minimum amount of protein in grams you should have.

You definitely want to pay attention to the calories. If you don't eat enough, you won't lose the weight like you want. As for the other stuff, it all might come into play if you hit a plateau. Good luck!
