Where do you go to find healthier recipes? I mean how many times can a person eat grilled chicken, rice and vegetables for dinner before throwing in the towel on their lifestyle change? Where do you go to find these healthier meals that are for the common person on a budget?

Cooking light has some great recipes.... they are pretty budget friendly, you do need to get ingredients for some of them but you might find that you have a lot of the stuff!

I know EXACTLY what u mean!
  • You can also create them yourself if you are creative. I also take regular recipes and use healthy alternative. Trust me I understand how boring the basic foods can be. I created these light chicken pitas and I bring them to work for lunch.

1 whole wheat pita cut into two pieces..lower calories if you only eat one half but bring fruit or soup if you only eat one half and need more food

Stuff pita with grilled cubed or sliced chicken breast
    baby spinach
store bought mango salsa (Whole Foods mango salsa is great)
2 teaspoon Newman's Ginger sesame dressing

    Pita 130 cal
    chicken 4oz 136
    salsa 36 cal
    spinach 7 cal
    dressing 35 cal
