Last 5-10 lbs are hard, worth it?

I guess I know what you guys are going to say....but posting anyway for ideas.
I am 5"4' and about 136. I've lost 10lbs recently and all of my baby weight. Before I had kids I was always around 138-140 even while running marathons.
I have been on MFP for a couple of months and it has helped me get back to this point but I feel like now I have to try really hard every single day to make the scale move at all - and as soon as I have a bad day it goes back up. I know the answer is likely protein and weights but with two little kids I am just having trouble preparing food every day and finding enough time to get to the gym on top of running and biking. So....I guess I am wondering if it is worth it. Maybe this is where I am meant to be. At the same time, I would love to like how I look in a bathing suit.
No easy answers I know - would love to hear stories of others who have broken through to the other side and gone from good to great! I know it was hard - tell me it's worth the effort.

I would say weight training would actually lead to you gaining weight, since muscle weighs more than fat. Cardio and eating less are the keys to losing those last couple of pounds. I'm about to be in the same boat and it's hard, it really is, but stay strong. You can do this!!! Just focus on how good you'll look when you're done, and how accomplished you'll feel, especially compared to how you'll feel of you give up.0
