Lost weight, first impuse is to start eating lots

Oh, oh. I just stepped on the scale and for the first time since my wedding five years ago I'm under 115 pounds (I'm 4'11" and of slight frame). My first impulse? I can go back to eating carbs and sweets! Bad idea.

I mean, I literally went from the scale to a box of crackers and slices of cheese.

I think I had this subtle I'm-starving reaction.

We're having my father in law over for lunch and I'm making loads of roasted veggies, with a subtle vinagrette marinade and spray oil. I purposely didn't pick up a loaf of bread, which is really going to piss him off. Cous cous on the side. And I should drink lots of seltzer with a little juice. Any kind of entertaining gets me nervous and gets me eating.

I'm determined to stay under 1200 cals today, keeping up the good work. Wish me luck.

    big congrats on the 115!
now a "box of crackers" is a little extreme, but the roasted veggies will help with your choice of breakfast....

    i get it...i always think I'm-starving, too

Had that impulse end of Dec...I was 112 and gave in to the impulse. By end of Jan I was 135! I had no idea had to maintain. It's actually easier for me to try and go lower than to hover where I am at..

Maintenance is a whole other monster. Best of luck and ditto on the roasted veggies!
