Howdy!
Had a great workout yesterday: 1 hour bike ride with husband, 30 minutes of weights, 10 minutes on elliptical, and 10 minute stretch. More beautiful weather here.
Part of my great workout was that I saw the beginnings of a deltoid. I've always admired deltoids and wanted one (or preferably two) of my very own. There it was in the mirror, just peeking out beneath the layer of soft fat.
Here's to all our small advances is health and fitness :drinker:

Today went for an hour long walk, and walked around the mall shopping for my husband for two hours (it's his birthday this week).
So, I'm counting that as an hour walk and an hour long leisurely walk.
Happy Sunday!:flowerforyou:0 -
Good Morning and Happy Sunday!
Got my cardio workout out of the way already -- 20 minutes on the bike, 25 on the elliptical. I also parked far far away from the Farmer's Market so I could squeeze in a ten minute walk.
I'm aiming for a leisurely yoga class this afternoon to wind down the weekend, followed by at least eight hours of sleep!0 -
P.S. CONGRATS ON THE DELTOID!!!! So inspiring.0

Yesterday was bad wasn't meant to be but it was planned my day planned my meals and just after I had finished lunch my friend called round in a crisis didn't leave till nearly dinner time which didn't leave my time to go on the trampoline or use the elliptical only go for a walk then we found there was a rally on so that meant my walk was cut short by 20 mins also. No big deal my only problem left was that without the exercise calories I would have to go without dinner so I had to kind of write the day off as a bit of a cheat day went over on cals and protein but my friend really needed me so it was worth it.
Sometimes I think it is hard to remember that life goes on as well and being thin and healthy is important (why we we be using this site if it wasn't) but it isn't everything I usually feel guilty when I don't get to do the exercise I wanted to for the day but yesterday I had to look at the bigger picture and I will add five mins on to each of my workouts this week to make up for it.
Anyway today was another day elliptical 35mins walk 1hour all done so I am pleased with that. Not pleased that I ate chocolate for lunch we were out doing the monthly food shop and it was passed lunchtime and my hubby was sat in the car with a delicious large bar of chocolate and I had 16 squares
I logged it when we got home and adjusted my evening meal to something a bit lighter than steak prawn and garlic linguine delicious and I am still under on cals so that is a GOOd day.
ps the chocolate was the first I have had since xmas and it tasted good I guess when you don't have something all the time you really appreciate it when you do.
Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Yay for deltoids! A sure sign you're replacing fat with muscle... keep it up!
Had another lacrosse match to cover today, so I was up & about for several hours there. Doing another 60 min of aerobic/resistance plus some other lifting, so 90 min total.
I am 3 for 3 on vitamins since buying more, and of course, after I bought more, I found my stockpile at home! Go figure; won't be running out any time soon so I have NO excuse to fail that goal
I am going to try restricting calories again since i seem to be stuck. I think 155-160 is my bodies comfort weight, it's easy to maintain and I don't feel like I'm putting forth the effort I did for the 20lb loss prior to now. Not complaining, just finally getting fit so now I have to kick it into a higher gear.
Goals for this week, NO BROWNIES (pms is imminent, and they are my weakness), break 155lbs.

I've had some interesting exercise yesterday and today. I didn't do enough of it though. Yesterday we went to a birthday party at a place called Let's Jump and it's party rooms filled with those large inflatable jumping things. I tell you! That's a work out! Today my husband and I worked on my camaro to try to get it running again after sitting for 6 years. We did not get it running but I did get a little exercise putting new parts on. Not enough to counteract what I ate but at least it was something. I"ll get back on track tomorrow. Hope you have all had a good weekend!:happy:0
