What has worked best for me is to have a heart rate monitor to get the most accurate calories burned for me... You log it under cardio, circuit training... there is also a way to add an exercise as well0

also depending on your heart rate, will determine the calories burned.. the generic listing is fairly close.. It told me I burned 274, but by my heart monitor I burned 247 for 20 mins of Shred level 1... I am hoping to increase the calories as I get more in shape!0

It's great! I'm just starting level 2 tomorrow. And while the weight loss isn't extreme, because of the muscles youre building, the inch loss is pretty great! There are 3 levels, each level is 10 days and I can already see a difference in my stomach, as well, my legs are getting more toned! The work out is only 20 mins long, you can either find all three levels on YouTube or you can order the DVD on amazon.0

Also, there's an equation you can use as a guesstimate. Your weight x 3.267 (I think) divided by 3.0

Thanks 20shan08 i was about to ask how many days are each the levels! Im going to start today so wish me luck.0

Good luck! It's a great, quick workout! I enjoy it0

I always put it in as 30 minutes of circuit training. For me it burns about 200 calories. I love this workout, though. It really works!0

I think people figure about 10 days per level, but it really is up to the individual person. If you can move thru level 1 with little difficulty, move on to level 2. I log it as circuit training...like someone else said, my HRM is pretty close to MFP.0

i loved the 30 day shred! although i didn't finish all 30 days (i got sick, then lost the habit) i did about 17 days, and i lost 7 pounds! i built muscle, toned my body, and lost inches.
a great workout and a great combination!0
