ChaLean Extreme folks: what weights do you have?

Just started CLX today and I clearly need to get more weights (I used 5 and 10 lb weights today). We definitely can't get the Boflex adjustables, and quite honestly I cannot imagine going past 25 lbs per weight. Looked at the Reebok weights at Target last night, and have looked online at the Weider 25 lb adjustables. What do you use, and are you happy with them?

THANKS FOR THE INFO!!

    Hi :)
I grabbed some weights from walmart and I wish I would have saved for heavier - most sets on c.e. require two weights so mine max out at 20pds each hand .
By the end of the first 30 days, you will probably be in the same boat as me and finding that to be too light for some of the sets (especially the lower body stuff).
I'm not a heavy lifter, but the goal of c.e. is to reach muscle failure so you will want to get weights heavy enough to do that :)
    Best of luck and enjoy.
It is fun to watch yourself get stronger :)
  • Yaaay! Another CLX-er. :) I'm still on week 1, day 3. Love it so far!

As for the weights....We have the bowflex adjustables. Love them.

That being said, really ANY kind of weights will work so just do your research and read a lot of reviews before you settle on something!

Eventually though, we will be at 25 lbs. on some exercises. I have no doubt about that.

Good luck, and can't wait to hear how you like CLX!

Thanks for the fast replies! I think I'll definitely get at least 25 lbs. per hand. Yes, we should definitely post our progress as time goes by!

I was thinking about doing this next, I would have to start off with 5 lb weights first lol then move up!

I have the Xmark 25 lb adjustable weight set and the Bayou 50 lb adjustable weight from Amazon (I'm not actually up the 50 lb set yet). I highly recommend getting an adjustable set. I had picked up a 40 lb barbell set since it was so much cheaper, but it is really a pain to keep changing the weights between the different exercises.

I'll do some research on both of these--thanks for the reply!
