Eat back exercise calories....... or not?

Hi, thanks to helloitsdans post re: BMR, TDEE etc.... I have upped my calories, and still lost weight this week, so thanks for that, I am just not clear whether or not I can eat back my exercise calories.

I thought not as they are calculated as part of the TDEE, but I just wanted to check, not sure I actually could eat them all back anyway. (especially as I ran 8km for the first time today! whoop!)

    If you figured your activity level into your TDEE, then no.

    If you calculated your TDEE using the the right activity level, then no, you don't eat them.

    If I'm not hungry; I don't eat them back. If you're eating your schedules meals & snacks & fluids, I don't look at the calories added back in from my exercise. Each day seems to be a little bit different ... so, just take each day as they come :blushing:

    I do the same thing as carolebville, I only eat my calories back if I'm hungry.

    If you worked with dan, then its included in your tdee most likely. So no you dont.
