Okay, okay, a quarter of a mile, LOLOLOL!! I was too excited!!!
I RAN (I'm training to run) "twice" around the track [a quarter of a mile] without stopping during my lunch hour today! I power walked 2 miles (w/running, too) in 40 minutes!!! Wooohooo!!! Don't forget I stretch 5 minutes before and after my work out (Eva doing a jig!!)

Eva grabbing a calculator, too, teehee hee!! A quarter of a mile (.50) x 4 times around is 2 MILES...I HATE MATH

Blessings!

Eva

IMPRESSIVE!!! I am doing the Happy Dance for you. Now, the hard part is settling down and ending the celebration so that you can get back to work.

Seriously though, Congratulations, that really is a great accomplishment.

Thanks LJ. Considering I'm NOT a runner! Mom told me when I was born I later contracted brochitis. No WONDER I couldn't play soccer w/the other kids in elementary! Yippie!!!!

Yeah, I know, back to the ol' salt mines

    Blessings!

    That's great!

But a quarter of a mile is .25...so 4 times around is 1 mile. :flowerforyou: That's how it is on every standard track.

3/4 of a mile is .75. So was the track 3/4 mile or 1/4 mile?

If it's 3/4 mile and you walked around it 4 times, that's 3 MILES. And since it took you 40 minutes to powerwalk and run around 4 times, I'm thinking you may have done 3 miles.

Because I'm really out of shape at 255# right now and I walked a mile in 17 minutes today on my lunch break and didn't even break a sweat. I normally walk 2 miles at lunch in 35 minutes. And I'm not powerwalkin'.

Congratulations Eva! Even running 1 mile is a start. Keep up the good work. I say if you're running, then you're a runner. :flowerforyou:
