Problem with a 'friend' on MFP and her eating habits?

I'm not sure where this particular type of question should be placed here on MFP so I'm just throwing it out there to the general population and see what happens.

I have a young friend, a girl, in high school as one of my MFP friends. She is talking about purging. And her friends are actually telling her how to and what problems they run into doing it.

I'm concerned for the girl. I've told her my opinion on this. Is there somewhere on MFP that you can report people in order for them to possibly get help? I don't mean to report her in a manner to get her in trouble but I'm very concerned and unsure of what's appropriate and what is not. I do not personally know this person.

Any suggestions or direct help would be great!

No. You can't report her for doing that. I would just try to reach out to her and let her know that is NOT the way to go about it. If it keeps up, delete her so you don't have to bare witness to that.

I think you can report the post because pro-bulimia posts are against the community rules. However, I think all that will do is get her banned from MFP. Obviously getting banned won't help her stop purging but I don't think there is anything you can do other than express your concern about how unhealthy a habit it is.

Thank you, that's what I've been doing just wanted to see if there might be something I was missing.
