Need calorie intake calculation confirmation

Hi everyone,
I just now calculated the calories I should eat in order to lose weight, but it seems really high to me. Can some confirm if I am on the rigt track? Below are my stats and calculation.

37 year old femlae weighing 243. I work out five days a week for approximatley 1.5 hours each time. I do 30 mjn strength training and usually 55-60 min of cardio. I average a 750 cals per gym session.

I calculated my BMR at 1834.
Multiplied by 1.55 for activity level
= 2824
2824 - 20% = 2256

This seems like a lot of calories. I am thinking that my problem has been that I am not eating enough, however, because I have nit lost much weight in three months; 7lbs. I am getting discouraged, therefore the request for some opinions. I was sticking to the number of cals given to me by MFP, 1710.

P.S Don't mind the typos, i am on my tablet and typing is a pain in the *kitten* :-)

Were you doing 1700 plus eating back to lose 7 lbs. in 3 months?

If this level of exercise is new I think the scale is going to not give you the full picture for a while.

No, i was not eating back the calories. I have been going to the gym for three months but only bumped it up to five times a week in the last month.
