Lower Calorie Chocolate Chip Cookies

I've been craving chocolate chip cookies (my favorite treat) for over two weeks. I finally decided to give in and make some, but tried to find ways to make it a little healthier. Now, just to be clear, they are still chocolate chip cookies and and not a health food, but sometimes you have to indulge. I made these and they were fantastic. I kept enough to curb my craving and gave the rest away. My friends couldn't even tell the difference.

I've tried a lot of different substitutes in the past and this is the first time I've actually enjoyed the outcome. They are super fluffy and have a cake like density to them.

3/4 Splenda Sugar Blend
3/4 Splenda Brown Sugar Blend
2 sticks Blue Bonnet Light Margarine
1 tsp. imitation vanilla
1/2 cup egg substitute
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/4 cups white flour
5 tbsp. Hershey Sugar Free Chocolate Chips

Preheat oven to 375.
Cream margarine, sugars and vanilla. Add egg substitute. Add baking soda, salt and flour. Mix until creamy. Stir in chocolate chips. Bake 7-9 minutes.

Makes 40.
