Need paleo help

Ive been looking into paleo to possibly help with stomach trouble I've been having. I havent been able to stay on it very long because I run out of meal ideas and get strong carb cravings a few days in. Anybody have any simple meal ideas to share and how to get over that carb craving that comes a few days after I start? I have felt very good while I've been on it and would really like to give it a better chance. Thanks for any help!

Many paleo resources out there. balancedbites.com immediately comes to mind. Also give a look at giryagirl.com, she is a kettlebell superstar that eats primal and has recipes on her website. Your local library may have books on the subject (mine does), and most of them have recipes in them. You can also use google, but that will require a lot of sifting through information.

Just because you have a craving doesn't mean you have to give in. I'm learning that. I hope it's a lesson that sticks, because even on low carb, I still get cravings.0

There's a website that you can subscribe to that, for $9.99 per month, will provide you with 7 days of menus and a shopping list: http://www.paleoplan.com. It also has some other useful information. I haven't fully converted to that lifestyle as I still like some carbohydrates (eg, oatmeal), but I have several coworkers who successfully follow it (one has Crohn's disease) and both feel that a Paleo lifestyle has helped them with their medical conditions.0

Nom Nom Paleo, and Mark's Daily Apple both have great recipes. There are also tons of cookbooks out there and other blogs. You can message or friend me if you want some tips. I've just converted all the way to primal/paleo eating this year and have been figuring some things out, I'm happy to share.0

May not necessarily be a carb craving, when I tried Paleo for a month I was always wanting meat. Once I ate a healthy protein bar or shake I was fine. Sometimes you gotta ignore what your body is "wanting" it's just used to getting a different type of food. Some people crave burritos or Mcdonald fries, doesn't mean they need it. If you want to be healthy you have to fight yourself for it sometimes. haha. Good Luck.0
