Hi everybody,
I don't exactly know how to start this post so I just go for it. This is the first weight loss approach of my entire life. I never tried anything like this before, because so far I did never actually see what I'm doing to my body. When I was a teenager, I had underweight(!), but then, well, I moved out from my parents' place (faaaar out), only ate what tasted good to me, and a few years later - BÄM, thats what you get from it. - Currently weighting around 250lbs and having big trouble to find fitting pants, I decided to start changing myself.
So, who am I? A few more details about myself: I am an 24-year-old stuttering (yes, the disability, honestly, not a joke) Web Software Developer from Berlin, Germany. Thats why I have chosen the topic for this post like that. I could imagine I am not the only software developer around here, because getting "big" seems like some kind of a job risk to me Anything else to say? Humm, I guess not. I started bike riding since last wednesday, and also watching my input (food) to reach my goals of course, so far I am going very well with it, but I have to say, that I'm on vacation until end of July. Thus, I am very excited about how this, "new health concept" lets say, will fit into my everyday life once I will work again from 1st of August.
If anybody got any questions, don't hesitate to ask, I don't have any MFP-Friends so far

Welcome to MFP and please feel free to add me as a friend. I have a bit more weight to lose than you. I'm sitting at 302 wanting to get into the 100's like 170 or 180. I've dieted over the years over and over. I have a gravy job as a chef working for a college so I have the whole summer off. I've been doing a little here and a little there. Then I bought a total gym a couple weeks ago and have been working out almost daily. I started about 8 weeks ago at 326 so I'm officially down 24 pounds but only 10 since joining here. I wore pants as big as 60 and I'm shooting for 32 or 34's. I had a tight 6xl shirt and right now I'm in 2xl's. I'll be here a long time losing and will help anyone that wants help. Good luck0
