I started MFP a year ago and I was doing really good. By really good I mean 40lbs in 3months. It was so easy to stay on track and I loved going to the gym. Then I got pregnant and had my baby in April. This is my first week back to MFP in a year. I've gained almost all my weight back in that year span. This time around I'm having a really hard time. I hate going to the gym, but I force myself to go. No matter how much I eat I still feel like I'm starving. I'll eat close to my calories, but I won't go over no matter how hungry or tempted I am. I almost called it quits last night when my husband went to Little Caesar's. Funny thing is I had plenty of calories left and I was able to have 2 slices. I just didn't want to stop at 2, but I did! I'm doing this with a great friend and my husband is nothing but supportive. He goes to the gym with me everyday after he gets out of work no matter how tired he is or how much he doesn't want to go. He goes to show me support! I can't seem to motivate myself or get myself in the right mind frame to be successful at this. I need help!!

I have had 2 babies and I am not in the mental mindset to even think about training/full on proper diet until they are 6 months - I just survive! Call it hormones not sure what!
Think of this as a long term thing - rather than I must lose all the weight at once! I train so my kids see a fit and healthy mum, one who can keep up with them, one who is in life...not waiting for life to happen.
Change up your program - if the gym is boring you try doing a class OR going for a bikeride, or outdoor run or a hike, or a team sport once a week.
Anyway stick with it, don't give up the internal button will click on soon

I'm in exactly the same boat you are! I had lost 46 lbs when I found out I was pregnant, and had my little boy at the end of April. I gained 67 lbs during my pregnancy! The first 33 lbs came off within 2 weeks, but I've been struggling to lose the rest. I just started working out again this week and I'm very carefully incorporating a small (~120/day) calorie deficit so I don't screw up my milk supply. Feel free to add me as a friend if you need more support!

don't beat yourself up! I have had three and until they sleep through the night routinely, you are in survival mode. Enjoy the baby as much as you can :)
