Night owls and weight loss

i feel like we're a dying breed! Anyone out there with horrible sleeping habits, or jobs that keep them up at weird hours?
Looking for advice on how to remain on course while up at ungodly hours. I have a night job and when most people get up in the
morning for breakfast and to start their day, i'm just getting in. How badly will this hinder my efforts? any night owls out there? help!
