How do you stop the "apron effect?"

This might be too personal...but I was wondering how your skin reacted to weight loss? I have 70lbs to lose and am concerned I'll be left with an "apron" or saggy skin. I'm doing both cardio and weights (in the form of pump and other gym classes). Is there a sure fire way to stop this happening?

There isn't a sure fire way to keep it from happening but you can take steps to minimize it. Keep hydrated, keep your skin lotioned, and keep a healthy diet. Genetics, time you've spent over weight, how you eat, all affect how your skin will react to weight loss.0

s1lence has the best ideas. Also, don't try to lose too fast. Your skin will mostly bounce back, but rapid weight loss makes it seem like it doesn't quite keep up.
I''d worry about that if and when it is an actual problem.0 -
Ok cool. Yeah I'm drinking heaps of water and trying to eat as clean as possible. I thought I might have an issue as I lose weight quite fast when I exercise and eat well. I've been overweight for about 6 years (at my heaviest the last 2 since our earthquakes started) so haven't had to lose a substantial amount before. Will be interesting!0
