Talk to me 'bout your calorie deficit!!!

Hey out there! I'm 5'3" and weigh 174lbs but shooting for 135lbs. I started out eating 1400 cals/day and have come down to 1300. I try to burn 300-700 cals/ day in exercise and I don't currently use any of my exercise calories burned.

My big question is this: Should I be replacing them? I am still losing, but I'm finding that my progress has slowed some. I don't want to starve myself, but I'm just not sure what the right answer is. When I search the web, I find all sorts of answers but nothing definitive.

What do all of you do?
