Double Tracking?

Hi, I'm Karen. I'm 35 and from California. I'm a teacher. I've got 56 more pounds to go til goal. I'm doing Weight Watchers where I read about MFP and thought I'd give it a try.

Any tips or suggestions? Fire away! I'm eager to lose this weight no matter how long it takes, so I am all ears.

  • Eat protein to stop yourself from snacking

    On here, track everything, including fruit and veggies... Just so you can make sure you aren't overdoing it too much (as on WW you don't count it)

    Ask questions on the forum! I'm amazed at how helpful some people are! - and also - ignore the ones who tell you that you're wrong, you'll never achieve what you're after if you keep going the way that you are (because unfortunately I've noticed someone say that on nearly every post asking for advice on diet, exercise etc)

    Keep up the exercise... A ten minute walk when you really don't want to is much better than ten minutes on the couch.

    And most importantly

    DO WHAT WORKS FOR YOU! Some people eat their exercise calories, some people don't, some people eat breakfast, some don't, some do intermittent faster, some don't.. Remember that you know your body better than anyone, and you'll know if something works for you because you will feel great! =]
