Long time listener; first time caller

Hello everyone!

I have been using MFP app off and on for a little over a year now, without being able to stick to my exercise and diet plans, or properly tracking. This is my first post in the community.

I started taking it a little more serious in January when I lost about 12 pounds, but again fell out of it when I went back to college. I finally graduated in May, and in June I decided that it was time I really took control of my weight and health. I have been steadily tracking my meals every day for the last 2 months, and am on a 30 day streak of logging in!

I've been trying to go to the gym 3-5 times per week and do some small at home workouts when I can fit them in. I've really noticed some more muscle definition, but definitely have a long way to go before I'm satisfied.

My short term goal is to compete and finish the Warrior Dash that is happening in Connecticut in September.
My mid-range goal is to be in the best snowboarding shape of my life!
And my long term goal is to be able to confidently walk around the beach with my shirt off when I go on a family vacation next summer.

I am 5'8 and currently at 190 lbs (down from 205 Jan 1st). I'd like to be at 180 by the end of summer and possibly to 175 by mid-winter.

I start a new job next week and am afraid that it will demotivate me from keeping up with my diet and gym. Hopefully I can help make some new friends on here who will be able to get me through the troubles!

Thank you all for reading!
