Running Injuries

I became a runner and I like to run for very long distances (I recently ran a half marathon 2:06:03 with a potty break ha ha). However, I always seem to be getting injured. My ankles, knees, and hips act up on occasion, causing it to be painful to run. I was wondering if anyone had any tips for reducing the number or severity of injuries.
