Pouring Rain and Getting Hit by Lightning

So I was about to post, but the college I work at just got hit by lightning and made us stand out in torrencial downpours. Anyway.. I am new here. Looking to loose about 60 Lbs, etc. Just get in shape and to eventually be able to run 2 miles every morning. Not sure of a realistic time frame. I assume that it is different for everyone. Right now I am 4'11 and about 183 Pounds, looking to get to 123 for now (which is where they say I will be at a healthy weight for my height. However that is more of a long term goal. Have a short term goal of the running. Getting my endurance up. So far (this being week one) I have worked out 5 days in a row every day but one included cardio. And hoping to be here to actually track it. Going to post a before and after pic on myfitnesspal blog.

Your goals aren't too ambitious, they're great! For help with running a bunch of people here do the "couch to 5K" plan on www.coolrunning.com. Its meant to get you going slowly and without pain or injury.
