Exercising interfering with sleep?

Howdy! Has anyone else found that what "They" say is true: exercising at night makes you not sleep well (or at all)? I've been running into that problem lately. The problem is, I am really enjoying exercising outside, but I sunburn so quickly and badly, even with sunscreen, that I have to do it past 6 or 7:00 at night. Will my body get used to it? Or am I doomed to the treadmill in the rec center? Thanks!

Some days the only time I can get to the gym is later in the day (around 8 or 9), especially once school starts. It never seemed to bother my sleep. Course by then I'm so freakin tired, I don't think anything could make me stay awake. LOL

It does seem that I see a lot of others exercising at night, so either it doesn't bother everyone, or they aren't sleeping, or there is a trick to all of this! :)
