Well, it's time to put up or shut up. I've got the race scheduled and I'm scared and excited. Have never been a runner, but have run when called upon to do so. I don't know what has always held me back and I am determined to conquer this last barrier. I ran/walked a Komen 5K about 10 years ago dead cold - no training at all - and finished, so I know I can do it. And this time, I am in much better shape, will work my way to running the 5K all the way and will probably be able to walk in the days after the race. Last time, that was a problem - I was so sore!
I need some accountability and encouragement, so I'm going to post progress --- cheering and pats on the back will be greatly appreciated!

I just started C25K today myself. I've never been a runner, nor do I plan to be really good at it, but I'm working towards my first 5K in September.
I wish you the best of luck in your training! If you get stuck or need a friend, I'm here for you! Feel free to add me!
