spin classes

Does anyone here do spin? If so how often. I am currently signed up to do 3 spin classes a week for the entire month of October I like it so far- Its a good way for me to be consistent in doing the amount of cardio I need to plus doing my normal weight training as well.
When is my butt going to not be sore? Did you see a transformation in doing spin?
I never did classes before this is my first time and so far I enjoying it. just want my booty to get used to that seat and hopefully drop lbs by the end of this month.
Its hard for me to drop weight I drop inches rather than pounds (I know I know but still I want the scale to go down)

Your butt will get used to it:laugh: It is a very good workout I usually burn anywhere from 400-600 calories in a 60 minute class. I would recommend getting some biking shorts with the pad in the butt area. This will help tremendously. Or you could buy a road bike like I did and the seats in spin class feel soft now.0

I bring a seat cover that I got at Target for $11 . it helps but I still hurt. Not as bad without it though, and how ofter your doing it you will get use to it fast! I only do it once a week on WED nights, Its a good break for me from running, but I will say, do not do a spin class on the same nights you do leg weights, NOT A GOOD THING! :noway:0

I do it once a week, maybe twice. Your butt definitely gets used to it. At first, it'd hurt for a few days...but after a few classes, it doesn't hurt at all.0

I do all my weight training on spin days- I have been out of the gym for a month so I am starting out semi slow doing 3 days a week this month then I will bring it back to 4 days a week next month and then 5 days by Decemeber.
Spinning doesn't kick my butt but it is a fun cardio workout unlike the boring others. I used to like cardio and didn't like weight training now I don't like cardio and love hitting the weights. So spinning is a fun way for me to get my cardio in.
I have class tonight- Not looking forward to my booty being sore but its okay.
I do use a gel seat and I am still sore. :blushing:0
