I am so much hungrier. I am trying to gain weight to overcome a 13-year battle with an eating disorder (please don't judge me, its a psychological disease not a choice I ever made). Also, I have been losing weight by increasing calories. My diary is open, but I am just confused and can't afford to lose any more weight as I already am only 102 lbs and am 5'7.5". I keep freaking out about eating too much sodium but people say I should be freaking out about not getting enough fat. So I am just confused. How am I hungry eating 2200 calories (my treatment team wants me to keep slowly increasing to 2500). Any help, suggestions, anything I would appreciate. I want to beat this and MFP has been an answer to so many prayers.

Hi sweetie. Are you exercising? If so, maybe you're burning off too many calories. Perhaps take an exercise break while trying to put on the weight.

How much weight have you lost, and in what period of time? Are you exercising more? If you are hungrier, can you try to eat more/more calorie dense foods?

Your diary looks great, BTW. You're doing a wonderful job of nourishing yourself. Make sure you net those 2200 cals. Good luck!

You are super low on fat and fat helps with feeling full. Instead using that fat free peanut stuff, use real peanut butter. Use regular yogurt instead of fat free. Eat nuts, trail mix, full fat dressings or cheeses rather than fat free. If you like avacado and salmon, those are great, healthy fat sources. You can up your fat without going too much higher on calories if you make a few adjustments and I think you'll feel much fuller.

I would definitely eat more fat if I were you. Your fat is insanely low. Fat is a part of a healthy diet, and it will help keep you full/satisfied longer. Nuts, olive oil, and cheese are a few sources. Full fat dairy products, full fat mayo and sauces, etc.

Thanks guys. Fats are hard for me because due to a stomach surgery gone wrong my body can no longer break down animal fats or large amounts of fat at once so I am stuck with pb, nuts, olives, etc.....throw in having an ED and being scared ****less to eat fat and it gets complicated.
I am not allowed to exercise beyond doing yoga twice a week so I don't exercise.
The weight loss how fast is confusing because I keep on trying to recover then slipping back and losing/gaining the same few lbs.
