exercising to much in a day?

just wondering is there such a thing? im by no means a fit person and i havent been working out that long but when i feel like i have a burst of energy i want to exercise...so is it best to keep it to a limit or is it ok to workout as much as you want in a day?

    There is such a thing. In fact it's not unusual to see people who suffer from anorexia doing HOURS of exercise (it's part of anorexic behavior). Unless someone is competing athletically (skating, swimming, etc) an hour or two of exercise per day should be more than sufficient enough. Anything more is usually excess.
