Just wondering.. how many calories from your daily goal do you shoot for, or makes you feel like it was a great day?
I thought I would shoot for within 100, but is sure is hard!

I get 1200 calories a day, but I can never get close enough. SO FAR, I've gotten 46 as the closest. When I eat and my calories go over 1200, I feel like a horrible person lol.0

Uugh I know the feeling, hate seeing that number with a red minus LOL0 -
Yesterday I came the closest - 1199, but I didn't take into account my exercise credits so I got that "lecture" about eating too few calories, lol0

minus isn't necessarily bad, -50 is better than +500
I always aim for AT LEAST MY BMR and BELOW MY MAINTENANCE.
When I was losing I was aiming to eat least my bmr and net 500-1000 calories below maintenance. I believe it is much healthier than '1200'0 -
If I have even 13 left usually I am like "Hmm, I can still have 3 almonds!" Hahaha Today I was further, I drank a ton of water and it made me gag full all day but usually I try to eat them all.0

I try to shoot for exactly my 1200. For a while i was going over between 50-300 three or four days a week-it didnt seem like much, but added up i realized it did make a difference. Now i try to hit my goal exactly. I dont like seeing that red number either! If I'm less than 100 cals over tho, i still consider it a decent day.0

so somehow I messed the quoted up... sorry
What a great tip! Thank you. I never would have thought of it that way, but having a BMR minimum and even a "oops" maximum really appeals to me. I have my deficit set to 2lb/week and thinking of it this way this helped me realize that even if I eat up to a 1lb/week deficit, it is still a deficit. And I agree, having some flexibility is probably much healthier than an arbitrary constant number.0
