Chest is too tight!

Hello!
Just wondering if anyone has experienced this and what they did to fix things...
Here's the story:
Last Sunday I was at Drill, where PT is mandatory. For this session, we did about half an hour of alternating pull ups with push ups, followed by 1.5 mile run. The run was no problem as I have been training on that, but my poor arms were pretty much virgin when it came to pull ups. They were not optional.
I ended up basically dangling there during the pull up section, doing ab crunches so I wouldn't get heckled by the guys (only female). It took until Thursday to feel like my muscles healed up. Now everything is back to normal, EXCEPT:
It hurts to move my arms in their full range of motion. Reaching above my head or propping my elbow on the back of a high backed chair is very uncomfortable. Everything feels tight, as if when the muscles healed with less flexibility and now they don't want to stretch.
Anyone had this happen? Did it go away on its own eventually? I'm thinking I should just push past the discomfort and stretch them out a little everyday?
Thanks for reading!

Normal to feel this way after abusing muscles you don't normally abuse. They're going to be stiff, tight and sore. Not much you can do, make sure to get plenty of rest and plenty of protein and wait it out. Could easily be a week before it feels better. After that week, start training pullups!0
