In gaining weight, I have noticed that I have a slight hump on the back of my neck closer to the shoulder blades. I know this is due to weight gain and posture. Is there an exercise that I can do to build muscle there and get rid of the fat, I know you can't target fat, but a general exercise that will burn calories in that area would be great! Also, does it go away with weight loss? If so, I can be patient.
Thank you

Also wanted to add, it's my trapezium muscle and rhomboideus minor (cut) that is affected0

I used to have a bump there, and it went away with weight loss.0

Mine is going down also, so just be patient and it will go away.0

Thank you! Did you do any exercises to target that area?0

Posture will help make it less noticable, people underestimate the power of sitting and standing up straight to improve your appearance and tone muscles. Like my mom used to say, imagine you are a puppet being held up by a string from the top of your head.0

no it just went down as the weight came off, I still have a slight one but hope with the next 100 lbs it will be completely gone0
