Support system for those pesky 10lbs

I am a 32 year old female who is on her way to getting back to my "fighting weight" of 130lbs. As a teenager I played basketball, danced and loved getting involved in any physical activity. During college I got sedentary, ate poorly and gained 50lbs! At about 25 years old I got diagnosed with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, pre-diabetes, and asthma. The cost of being unhealthy was too much so I decided to take the bull by the horns and make some adjustments. I started walking and eventually running 4 times a week, hula-hooping and a little Pilates for about 2 years. That along with portion control helped me lose 45 lbs and get ride of the majority of those illnesses. Once I hit 30 I teetered back up 15 lbs because of poor eating habits. Now that I've found MFP I am looking for the support and tools I need to help me make better decisions and take control of my health.

I would love the support of fellow MFP people! I'm a great cheerleader, too!

I'm in the same boat. I'm hovering at 145-140 lbs and trying to get back down to 135.
