I feel really stupid asking this question but anyways here it goes.
This morning i caught myself saying " Oh I just lost weight because I lost muscle".
Now if I'm correct ... that doesn't happen does it. You can't just in less then a week lose muscle weight, right?
Can anyone explain this to me, please.

Depending on your nutrition and excercise, yes you can lose muscle.

Add resistance training to your schedule, and you won't be losing muscle.

Sure you can lose muscle in a short period of time. I've been in a walking boot for an injury for 6 weeks and my calf is a full two inches smaller than it was pre-injury...

I'm not sure I understand. Any weight loss is typically a mix of fat and lean tissue, and water. You can't lose only fat or only muscle. And losing muscle isn't 100% bad. Gaining body fat % is but you can keep your % and lose muscle mass and that's ok, for many.

Do very intense cardio at about max for 6 days in a row, good 60 min each time.
Do a low carb diet or undereat in general for your level of activity, such you never replenish glucose stores fully.

Perfect recipe for burning up some muscle.

And since muscle has less energy in it compared to fat (600 compared to 3500), you can lose weight fast.

    Desired? Not by most.

I do already have a generally low-carb diet going on but I will have to kick my *kitten* to do max cardio. :embarassed:
    Thank you.
I do want a toned body, not just skinny and bone
