I have done this also in the GF grill. Deelish! I've also taken the exact sandwich, scrambled an egg white in a bowl with a little s&p, coated the sandwich in it on both sides and then sauted it in a little bit of evoo in a skillet. It gives it a wonderful crispy texture without adding a lot of calories. Kinda like a monte cristo!:flowerforyou:

It sounds great, but choose your deli meat carefully to save yourself for sodium. The pesky stuff hides everywhere--IE-a 98% fat free slice of Kirkland (Costco) deli ham has about 330 mgs of sodium!!:noway: :noway: Also, pickles, unfortunately, have lots of sodium, so one won't hurt, but many more could.

I just got a George Foreman grill and haven't used it yet, so I will have to try this, but I plan on using low carb whole wheat tortillas instead of bread.
