Where do you go? There are several options around where I live but after seeing this on the news:

It kinda freaked me out.
I joined a gym for 3 months this year (it was one of the options I could take) and paid for it all up front without leaving any of my billing information with them. I want to try a new place to see what they have for classes, equipment and any other perks.

Opinions? Anyone?

    I go to the YMCA. I paid for 1 year in cash. I am wary of the private gyms anyway.

    The YMCA is an option as is the City run health clubs. The paying for it all upfront would be a -must- for me.
