I'm just getting back into exercise (mostly strength training at the gym and biking a few times a week) after 5-6 months off (and gaining 15 lbs). I am SO sore, but super eager to get this weight off. So my question is, how often do you strength train? I know rest days are important, but right now I feel like I can't afford to not be in the gym every day.

I do one muscle group per day. Mon - Chest, Tue-Biceps, Wed-Triceps, Thur-Legs, Fri-Back. I do HIIT cardio on Mon, Wed, Fri as well. This gives each group plenty of time to recover. It works best for me!0
